Questions, answered

Do you take my insurance?

It depends on the plan. How fees work lists the plan types we work with and says which we file claims for. Many dental plans carry a separate orthodontic benefit, and Toya will check yours with you.

What if I don't have insurance?

We give you a written estimate before treatment starts. It lists what is included, so you know the fee before you decide. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.

Do you accept Medicaid or CHIP?

The practice sets its answer here. Call the office and we'll tell you plainly, and point you to one that does if we don't.

Will it hurt?

Teeth are often sore for a few days after a fitting or a change of aligners. Most visits need no numbing. Tell us when you want a break and we'll stop.

How often do I need X-rays?

Dr. Bhargava decides, and orders only the ones she needs. If your general dentist took recent ones, bring them or ask that office to send them.

Do I still see my regular dentist?

Yes. Keep your cleanings and checkups while you wear braces or aligners. Cleaning around them matters more.

What ages do you see?

Teens and adults. If you're asking about a younger child, call the office and Dr. Bhargava will tell you when an exam makes sense.

What counts as an emergency?

A broken wire or loose bracket is common, and we'll tell you whether it can wait. Swelling that spreads, bleeding that won't stop or trouble breathing or swallowing needs 911 or an emergency room.

Do you offer sedation?

No. Most orthodontic visits need no numbing. If a jaw problem needs surgery, an oral surgeon talks with you about sedation first.

Can I get a written estimate before treatment?

Yes. You get one before anything starts, and you can take it home to think it over.

Do you speak Spanish?

Visits here are in English. If you'd like an interpreter or a family member with you, tell us when you book.

How do I cancel or change a visit?

Call or text the office as early as you can. We'll find another time. Check-ins matter, because teeth move on a schedule.
